O'Donovan Waste Disposal is a family run company based in London with roots dating back to 1959. A dynamic business specialising in construction and demolition waste, O'Donovan has earned an excellent reputation as a trusted company that crosses over a number of different sectors, offering total waste management and recycling solutions whilst leading the way in safe, green and efficient operations. With more than 160 staff and a fleet of 90 lorries, our success has largely come from a willingness to adapt to the changing industry and continually invest in staff, infrastructure and our fleet. There has been a sustained focus across the waste industry for a number of years now to improve safety. One of the main areas of concentration has been HGV driver training with the aim to reduce the number of collisions that construction lorries are involved in with pedestrians and cyclists. Whilst much has been done to address this, it is important not to forget that HGVs are just one side of the business.
