Lean Construction - Produktivitätssteigerung durch 'schlanke' Bauprozesse

Ein wesentlicher Faktor zur Steigerung der Produktivität der heutigen Bauproduktion liegt in der industriellen Organisation der Planungs- und Bauprozesse im Bauunternehmen. Das landläufige Verständnis des industriellen Bauens als eine Strategie der industriellen Vorfertigung und Automatisierungen sollte durch eine industrielle Organisation ergänzt werden. Die stationäre Fertigungsindustrie gestaltet heute die lohnintensiven Arbeitsprozesse nach den Prinzipien der Lean Production. International wurde begonnen, die erfolgreichen Prinzipien, Methoden und Werkzeuge auf die Bauproduktion zu übertragen. Lean Construction steht für dieses Bemühen in Forschung und Praxis. Der vorliegende Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über die Grundlagen, den Forschungsstand und die zukünftige Perspektiven der Lean Construction.%The industrial organisation of planning and construction processes is the key to improve productivity in construction. "Industrialized Construction" is commonly known as a strategy of prefabrication and automation and has to be extended by a strategy of industrial organisation. In manufacturing industries the labour intensive processes are designed by the principles of Lean Production. Lean Construction is an international endeavour in research and construction industries to adapt these successful principles, methods and developed tools to construction. This article gives an outline of the basic principles, current state of research and future prospects of lean construction.
