Tunnel Fire Prompts Rapid Response from Caltrans

In response to a fatal fire in a major interstate highway tunnel in Southern California in mid-October, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) worked quickly to restore traffic to nearby lanes of Interstate 5 and begin the process of repairing the tunnel itself.
