These inspiring volunteers have done more than imagine - they've made a better world a reality by: The Adu Achi community in Nigeria suffers from water scarcity. A stagnant stream is the only source of water and serves as drinking water, laundry, and a breeding ground for black flies that spread river blindness. The University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign has sunk a bore-hole water source that contains a submersible pump and the installation of a 10,000 gallon water reservoir to distribute the water to the villagers.
