The department of civil Engineering, Construction Management and Environmental Engineering, Construction Management Program at Northern Arizona University (NAU) invites applications for 1 position at the tenure-track assistant professor level in construction management heavy/civil construction to begin in August 2012. The position will require teaching undergraduate courses such as geotechnical engineering, surveying, heavy high- way construction, and possibly other undergraduate courses. The minimum qualifications are a master's degree in civil engineering or construction engineering or a related field with the degree conferred by start date; AND demonstrated knowledge of the U.S. engineering and construction industry, as shown through job experience; AND 1 semester or equivalent of teaching at the college level.
