The new terminal at Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport in Guangdong, China, has opened. Designed by architects Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas, the 1.5km long terminal uses honeycomb shaped metal and glass panels to allow natural light to filter through the facade. 52,000 tonnes of steel were used in construction, with an additional 260,000 tonnes of reinforcement.
