Polar Instruments adds modelling of matte and drum sides of PCB copper layers to the Si9000e transmission line field solver Key facts: 1. adds surface modelling of both sides of copper PCB layers into insertion-loss calculations; 2. models both the matte and drum surfaces of the copper layers; 3. easy "what if" analysis minimises material costs and increases manufacturing yield; and 4. compatible with the Polar Speedstack layer stack-up design system.
