A remot sensing image compression method based on wavelet transformation/vector quantization

摘要

A remote sensing image compression method for wavelet transformation (WT) + vector quantization (VQ) used in the virtual remote sensing image processing is presented, with its performances and simulation results given. The experimental re- sults showed that this remote sensing compression method outperforms that of joint protype encoding group.
