Wavelength-Flattened 1 x 3 Single-Mode Fibre-Optical Splitters

摘要

In this paper, based on the coupled wave equations, the characteristics of two normal modal fields existing in the composite waveguide of the wavelength-flattened 1 x 3 splitters are analyzed, and the characteristics of coupled optical power among fibers are also discussed. The wavelength-flattened 1 x 3 splitters have been sucessfully fabricated by using the pre-expanded fiber method.
