摘要

In this study, it is reported that a very high concentration and productivity of PHB could be obtained by fed-batch culture of A. eutrophus with phosphate limitation in 50L fermenter. The initial phosphate concentration is important since a higher cell concentration and PHB concen- tration could be achieved by using higher phosphate concentration. The phosphate limitation culture method developed in this study will be useful for the production of PHB.
