Circular economy is a pattern of economic growth pertaining to the notion of sustainable development, indeed a radical change of and challenge to the traditional economic growth pattern that builds itself upon the conceptions of "mass production, mass consumption, and mass waste". Thus, its core is the efficient and cyclic utilization of resources; its principle is "reduction, reuse, and recycle"; and its characteristics are low-consumption, low exhaust, and high efficiency. At present, many countries and regional economic entities have set the sustainable development as their crucial aim; a great number of gargantuan enterprises have made the sustainable development their long-term strategic plan and business goal. As a matter of fact, such practices are the indispensable basis and assurance of global sustainable growth. In regard to the enclosing pressure from population, resources, environment and the prospect of rapid growth, engaging on circular economy is a social accountability bestowed upon the shoulders of the Chinese industrial and commercial enterprises.
