Structural Dynamics of Low-Symmetry Au Nanoparticles Stimulated by Electron Irradiation

Dynamic gold nanoparticles: Small gold particles were found to take on a multiply twinned (MTP) structure on weakly interacting carbon supports. Real-time structural behavior of real-world carbon-supported catalytic species is described without resorting to modeling techniques (see figure).
