Canadian potash cartel Canpotex says it has reached an agreement to supply 350,000 mt of potash to China's Sinofert at an undisclosed competitive price in the first quarter of 2010, with a new price announced for the second quarter after reviewing overseas potash market conditions. Analysts say the prices of the potash contracted under the Canpotex-Sinofert deal was likely to be at or only slightly above that of the BPC deal, given that the price was not disclosed.
