摘要

The production of ultra-pure hydrogen [99.9999% (by volume) and more] with use of highly productive hydrogen-selective thin metallic membranes formed from palladium-based alloys is a trend receiving immediate attention in hydrogen power engineering and technology. Selection of the membrane material and investigation of its properties and characteristics, among which the hydrogen permeability y occupies an important position, is one of the principal problems in building high-temperature membrane vessels. One method of investigating hydrogen permeability is to measure the stationary hydrogen flow through the membrane under isothermal conditions with the stepwise creation of different pressure gradients through the membrane.
