ACOUSTIC WAVES IN REMOVING ORGANIC COMPOUNDS FROM EFFLUENTS

Methods are considered for treating effluents by reagent flotation and electrocoagulation in ultrasonic (US) fields. Surfactants (SA) in the effluent have only a slight effect on the performance in removing oil products by reagent flotation in a US field. Oil products in the effluent have a substantial effect on the performance in removing SA by electrocoagulation in a US field.
