TURNING OF POLYMER MATERIALS USING BILLET PRETREATMENT

摘要

Results of experimental studies are presented for the dependence of surface roughness for such turned polymer materials as caprolon and textolite on cutting regime parameters taking account of billet pretreatment by mechanical surface layer deformation. Results of production tests confirm the efficiency and expediency of using the engineering solution proposed for turning polymer materials.
