ISOLATION OF ACTINOMYCETES - PRODUCERS OF ANTIBIOTICS - FROM SOIL BY SELECTIVE METHODS BASED ON ACTIVATION OF SPORE GERMINATION

摘要

Conditions for the isolation of actinomycetes on the basis of preliminary treatment of soil suspensions by chemical substances contributing to activation of spore germination, and also methods for the most complete isolation of actinomycetes are investigated, and a search is conducted for cultures - producers of new antibiotics. Results of the study indicated that the addition of adrenaline and heteroauxin to a vegetative medium exerts a positive influence on the germination of actinomycete spores, and antibiotic activity of the isolated strains.
