A new more efficient technology for manufacturing protective sleeves is proposed, whose surface layer is subjected to integrated strengthening technology: ion nitriding, polishing, carburizing using electro-erosion alloying, and nonabrasive ultrasonic finishing. The protective sleeve material may be steel 38KhMYuA or 40KhN2MA.
