摘要

Several unique oil and gas separators (OGS) are proposed and their efficiency is evaluated based on laboratory and numerical experiments. The separation area is 20-30% larger in a vertical OGS with a screw shelf than in a standard OGS, which ensures congruent increase in OGS efficiency. In a horizontal OGS with a bubbler, the bubbling action on the fluid enhances efficiency by 40-50%. In a horizontal OGS with a bubbler and a heater, convective fluid flows rising above the heater accelerate ascent of large gas-carrier bubbles, whereupon the OGS efficiency increases by 55-75%. In a vertical OGS, plates of unique design can be used, in addition to a bubbler, for ease of separation of gas bubbles, in which case the efficiency generally increases by 60-80% as compared to the efficiency of standard vertical OGS.
