The details of the seven elements of a model hazardous waste management program depend on the unique characteristics of each university. Staffing and space needs are best determined by a detailed understanding of the implications of the program you are trying to deliver. Some suggestions for estimating staff and space needs were presented. If adequate resources are not available, you should know what program elements are being neglected and what the implications of doing so are.
