Higher spunlace nonwovens production

Japanese nonwovens production is in recovery. 2011 was a year when automobile-related sectors drastically suffered from the Great East Japan Earthquake in March, and the floods in Thailand. Things began to brighten up from the second half of 2011, such as the fact that the automobile industry began to increase their production. Japanese nonwovens production amounted to 313,000 tons in 2011, about the same output as in 2010.
