Chemical Abstracts Service Launches Release 2.0 Of Innovative SciFinder

Reaction substructure searching is new feature for update of award-winning program for researchers who need CAS data. This month, Chemical Abstracts Service will launch Release 2.0 of SciFinder, the innovative desktop research tool that was recognized as the 1995 Sci-Tech product of the year by the Information Industry Association and Online Access magazine. Included in SciFinder Release 2.0 are several significant new features including substructure searching of more than 1.3 million chemical reactions since 1985 published in patents and journals, and updated weekly. CAS will begin shipping the new release at the end of June.
