摘要

A theoretical investigation on the effects of the flow rate and operating temperature on the conversion in a tubular reactor using "large-pore" catalysts, for first-order irreversible reactions, is carried out in this work. Two cases are considered: laminar and turbulent flow in the bulk fluid phase. Application of the present development to interpret laboratory experiments from literature is also illustrated.
