Multidentate thioether ligands coating gold nanoparticles

摘要

The design and synthesis of oligomeric ligands based on benzylic thioethers is presented together with their ability to enwrap and stabilize gold nanoparticles with diameters below 2 nm, which become-with increasing length of the oligomer-more mono-disperse and stable.
