摘要

Here we report a folding-based electrochemical DNA (E-DNA) sensor fabricated on a gold-plated screen-printed carbon electrode and show that the E-DNA sensor is not required to be fabricated on a relatively flat gold surface; the sensor works comparably well when fabricated on an electrodeposited gold film with a surface roughness factor of ~ 7. In recent years, the electrochemical DNA (E-DNA) sensor for the sequence-specific detection of oligonucleotide has attracted significant attention. The E-DNA sensor is label-free, specific, operationally convenient, and selective enough to detect oligonucleotides in complex samples.
