A new strategy of photoelectrochemical (PEC) analysis with chemiluminescence (CL) of the isoluminol-H_2O_2-Co~(2+) system as a light source for the determination of physiological thiols in cancer cells was reported for the first time.rnThiols, such as cysteine (Cys), homocysteine (Hey), cysteinyl glycine (CysGly), and glutinone (GSH), which are components of many proteins and simple molecules, play central roles in cellular processes.
