Cholate-derived amphiphilic molecular baskets as glucose transporters across lipid membranes

摘要

With introverted polar groups and hydrophobic exteriors, cholate-derived amphiphilic molecular baskets were efficient transporters of glucose across lipid membranes. Development of sugar-recognizing supramolecular hosts has received much attention over the years,due to the involvement of carbohydrates in numerous cellular processes including fertilization and viral infection.
