摘要

Surfactant bilayer protected core-shell carbon nanoparticles (CNPs) have been synthesised. Foerster resonance energy transfer (FRET) between the core-shell CNPs and two strategically chosen organic dyes has been exploited to characterise the protective surfactant bilayer.
