摘要

Both neutral and cationk iridium(Ⅲ) complexes containing carborane units were synthesized. Bulky carboranes can significantly improve phosphorescence quantum yields of these complexes and the electronic effect of carboranes can evidently tune emission wavelengths of cationic complexes.
