Immobilization of enzymes on a microchannel surface through cross-linking polymerization

摘要

A novel and facile method for the preparation of an enzyme-immobilized microreactor has been developed in which enzymes are immobilized as an enzyme-polymer membrane formed on the inner wall of the microchannel by a cross-linking polymerization method;the resulting microreactor shows excellent reaction performance and stability against denaturat-ing agents.Microreactors are potentially powerful tools in the fields of chemistry and biotechnology.The excellent performance of microreaction systems is achieved by rapid heat and mass transfers,and larger surface/interface area.These attractive features are favorable to catalytic reactions through catalysts immobilized on the reactor.
