摘要

A mild heterogeneous, ligand-free protocol for Sonogashira and Heck couplings has been developed and used to access several biologically important deoxynucleoside derivatives in a facile manner.Over the past several decades,transition metal-mediated cross-coupling reactions have emerged as powerful methods for the formation of carbon-carbon bonds.Of the many cross-coupling processes,the Pd-catalyzed Sonogashira coupling of aryl or vinyl halides with terminal alkynes2 has found high utility in modem organic chemistry,with applications ranging from natural product synthesis and pharmaceuticals to the development of organic materials(1 +2->3,Fig.1).
