摘要

2,2'-Distannyl derivatives of dodecafluorobinaphthalene are converted to a novel D_2 symmetric borane dimer,which can be oxidized to (±)-F_(12)BINOL;resolution using (S)-acetoxypro-panoyl chloride affords enantiopure material.
