In May, the 2nd User Forum of the Enabling Grids for E-sciencE project was jointly organized with the 20th meeting of the Open Grid Forum in Manchester to bring current Grid users and standards bodies together. This event was Europe's biggest ever Grid event, with more than 900 registrations, and ensured that currently emerging standards are taking into account the experiences of the most challenging applications already using the Grid.rnEGEE operates the largest multiscience Grid currently in production use and already works with OGF on several levels, providing input from the project's extensive knowledge of the deployment and management of large-scale infrastructures.
