Decision matrix for bulk solids transport

While modernizing its Wietersdorf works in 2005,Wietersdorfer & Peggauer Zementwerke GmbH installed a Claudius Peters FLUIDCON~® system for pneumatic conveyance of raw meal from the raw meal blending silo to the preheater. This conveying system fulfilled all the requirements of Wietersdorfer & Peggauer Zementwerke GmbH with a low energy requirement, minimum wear and excellent availability. This article presents the decision criteria for the selection of the new conveyor system.
