Maximizing energy efficiency

ABB has received an order worth $25 million from the Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation for equipment to maximize productivity, monitor energy use and minimize energy consumption at a new cement plant. The Binh Phuoc cement factory will be built about 130 km north of Ho Chi Minh City and will produce 5500 t/d clinker. It is scheduled for commissioning in first quarter of 2009. The scope of ABB's order includes engineering, construction and commissioning services, as well as overall project management supervision.
