Modern lime kiln technology

At the invitation of the Dannenfels-based Schwab GmbH, more than 50 experts from the lime industry met at the headquarters of the M-Group in Lemgo on the occasion of the workshop "New kiln type QualiCal Syn 85" from 10th to 11~(th) May 2012 (Fig.1). On their completion at Calcis Warstein GmbH ft Co. KG, currently two QualiCal kilns are waiting to be commissioned - one at Calcis Lienen ft Co. KG and the second one at Kalkwerke H. Oetelshofen GmbH ft Co. KG in Wuppertal. During the course of the workshop, the participants could exchange ideas with the companies involved in the manufacture and with the operators as regards the plant concept and implementation.%Vom 10.-11.05.2012 trafen sich auf Einladung von Schwab GmbH, Dannenfels, im Headquarter der M-Group in Lemgo über 50 Experten aus der Kalkindustrie zum Workshop „Neuer Ofentyp QualiCal Syn 85" (Bild 1). Nach der Fertigstellung bei der Calcis Warstein Gmbh εt Co. KG warten derzeit zwei QualiCal-Öfen - einer bei der Calcis Lienen εt Co. KG und der zweite QualiCal-Ofen bei der Kalkwerke H. Oetelshofen GmbH εt Co. KG in Wuppertal - auf die Inbetriebnahme. Im Rahmen des Workshops konnten sich die Teilnehmer mit den an der Konstruktion beteiligten Firmen und Betreibern über Anlagenkonzept und -realisierung austauschen.
