...Of the excursion for the thirty-six Hamburg University of Applied Sciences students led by Prof. Dr. Martin Geweke and Prof. Dr. Falk Beyer. The previous day they had called in on Maschinenfabrik Haver εt Boecker, at Oelde, in Westphalia, where they were given a resume of the company's history and products, after which they visited this specialist packaging-machinery manufacturer's production facilities. Their expert guides were two retired HεtB employees, Albert Wesemann and Willi Westerbeck. The students' tour of the works included an insight into the assembly of the latest generation of these machines, the HAVER ROTOCLASSIC~®. A number of the participants subsequently had the opportunity of seeing Haver packers in action during the visit to the Geseke cement plant the following day, allowing them an even more comprehensive understanding of the complete chain from machine production up to real-life packing operation.
