Well received by the participants was the coal seminar in Cairo to which the Dues-seldorf based vertical roller mills specialist Loesche had invited in mid-March together with A TEC/Greco. More than 50 interested customers from the region came to be well informed on coal grinding and also in general about the future of the Egyptian cement industry as regards the fuel supply and logistics by the German and Austrian experts present. For a lively exchange of ideas, Gerhard Salewski, Bernhard Schröder, Thomas Fahrland and Michael Mueller came from Duesseldorf for this purpose.
