Sistematica de las Ranas Ribeenas de Cuba (Leptodactylydae: Eleutherodactylus) con la Descripcion de una Especie Nueva

Two species of Cuban frogs, Eleutherodactylus cuneatus (islandwide) and E. sierramaestrae (eastern provinces), are fond along the bands of streams. A re-examination of type specimens, and of newly collected material has revealed that E. sierramaestrae is a synonym of E. cuneatus, that E. cuneatus is restricted to Eastern Cuba (primarily upland areas), that the remaining populations referred to E. cunea- tus belong to a new species described herein.
