Sightings of Cetaceans in the Northern Caribbean Sea and Adjacent Waters, Winter 1995

摘要

A multi-objective research cruise was conducted in the northern Caribbean Sea and the adjacent Atlantic Ocean from 29 January through 8 March 1995. One aspect of the cruise was to determine the feasibility of using ship-based line-transect survey methods to estimate the abundance of cetaceans in waters of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
