Our latest assessment of the global freighter fleet indicates the number of units in service now stands at 1,550, a figure that is down roughly 7% from 1,678 in this year's first quarter. The early 2009 quantity itself was down from 1,800 units in 2006/07, which means that we are down almost 15% from the peak total two years ago. A substantial portion of the decline results from changes in the US express industry where DHL ended domestic service and made a dramatic cut in its freighter network.
