Five 777Fs to LUFTHANSA CARGO? In May 2011 Lufthansa placed a firm order with Boeing for five 777 Freighters, but said a final decision regarding placement of the new freighters - operating directly for LHC, or in the 50/50 AeroLogic joint venture Lufthansa shares with DHL - had not been made. Since then Lufthansa has made no further announcements, and industry speculation has been that the five freighters would likely join the AeroLogic fleet.
