Consumers in the large U.S. states of Florida and Texas will become the latest to try out contactless payment, now that issuer JPMorgan Chase & Co. has announced it is rolling out its "blink" credit card in two more large metropolitan areas. U.S-based Chase announced plans last month to issue 800,000 cards in the Dallas-Forth Worth area in Texas, with another 500,000 going to the Orlando region in central Florida. Chase says about 500 merchant locations accept "blink" in counties around Dallas, with 320 locations in nine counties around Orlando.
