The annual Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show with Discovery at Birmingham's NEC marks the start of the car show season. This year, it was held over the penultimate weekend in March. CM's stand was large enough to be filled by all the writers of the magazine that attended and conveniently located by one of the main entrances into the exhibition hall. We're not used to manning a standat a show, so it was a novelty to be approached by so many readers who recognised our faces and knew the cars we work on. We even had our own promotions team, a competition to win a limited-edition Sealey trolley jack and a rackful of Swarfega to give away.
