Environment conservation and restoration of mountain-type academy of classic learning

Taking Yuelu Academy of Classic Learning located at the foot of Yuelu Mountain as an example, by analyzing the cultural connotation of the Academy of Classic Learning, water and mountain, the paper proposes an idea and method of how to conserve and restore the construction environment of mountain-type Academy of Classic Learning, particularly the watery and mountainous surroundings based on the principles of authenticity and sustainable development, and the reflections of the construction and restoration of the ancient buildings and their surroundings of Yuelu Academy of Classic Learning in the past twenty years.
