It seems everyone aspires to owning a 3-Series, and you can't blame them because it's a supremely well-executed package. Lovely to drive, refined, well made, beautifully styled, youthful and go-getting - there are few real criticisms you can level at the 3. But in a way, its success has also been its downfall because over the last few years, values have been in freefall. But, of course, that's great news for us because it means there are lots of bargains to be had, and the prospect of owning a frugal prestige mini-exec has never been so good.
