Years ago there were all sorts of tools that you just accepted were too expensive to buy. Or, perhaps more realistically, they weren't worth shelling out for considering the few times you'd actually use them. And we'd say brake pipe flaring tools are definitely just such a tool.rnHowever, times change. And now owning your own flaring tool is a slightly different proposition. One reason, ofrncourse, is that most car accessoryrnstores now turn their noses up at the likes of us. By that, of course, I mean overall clad blokes wielding dirty parts at them to copy. And brake pipe, after all, can be especially offensive in this respect. It's usually covered in years of underseal and dirt, and it always trickles a tiny amount of dirty fluid onto said store's plush counter! Okay, I exaggerate, but the point is this: many accessory stores now focus on selling Sat-Navs and stereos rather than useful services like key cutting or making brake pipes up.
