VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT DOOR LOCK CHANGE

Despite being opened from the inside, the front passenger door on this 2006 VW Passat could not be opened from the outside. After a few attempts at locking and unlocking the door, we realised that the door panel was going to have to come off to allow us to have a look at the door mechanism. Once the trim panel was out of the way, we had to remove the window regulator mechanism that covers the inside of the door.
