From 1986, the Peugeot/Citroen (PSA) range employed the TU family of overhead camshaft four-cylinder petrol engines (along with TUD diesel-powered variants). Citroens with the TU motors include the AX, BX, ZX, Xsara, Saxo, C2, C3, C15, Berlingo and Nemo; Peugeots powered by the TU unit include the 205, 309, 405, 106, 206, 306, 207, 307, Bipper and Partner. The TU power units have a belt-driven overhead camshaft, and the drivebelt serves the water pump as well as the camshaft.
