The city of Orange, Conn, recently became home to a sweet piece of history. PEZ Candy Inc., known for candy dispensers featuring a variety of licensed characters, opened aVisitors Center in the town Dec. 1. Keith Whitaker, v.p. of marketing for PEZ, says part of the reason for opening the center in Orange had to do with the number of requests for factory tours that PEZ receives. "We get quite a few requests for plant tours, but we aren't set up for that," says Whitaker. "This visitors center has a viewing area that allows us to show our customers how it is that PEZ is produced and packaged."
